Fergal Rogers – Viking Splash Tours Operations Director

Fergal Rogers was educated at Blackrock College and then completed a course in Business Studies at Rathmines College of Commerce. Fergal then worked with an Estate Agency firm in Dublin for 2 years before joining up with his brother Des and establishing Dublin’s first self-storage Company in 1982, a Company which further developed into Data and Records Management, responsible for the off-site storage and retrieval of confidential documents and computer media. A successful sale of the storage business led Des and Fergal in to the establishment of a healthcare waste disposal Company which in turn was sold in 2006.

This led Fergal to his present position as a Director and Operations Manager of Viking Splash Tours, a Company which provides amphibious tours of Dublin City. Throughout his career, Fergal has always been in charge of Company day-to-day operations with a focus on regulatory compliance and the implementation of the highest standards of health and safety for both employees and customers alike.

Fergal also notably pioneered the ‘Passport to Dublin’, a publication of coupons and special offers for a range of services and activities across the city. In doing so, Fergal brought together a number of key influencers and leaders in the Irish tourism industry to improve tourism activities as a whole.
